Answers to common questions, and how to reach a human. If the answer you need is not here, use the contact section below.

What is Vibe Studio?

A cross-platform video editor and motion-graphics studio: create projects, edit on a multi-track timeline, animate with keyframes, add effects and audio, and export — plus programmatic video from approved templates and an AI Studio for captions.

How do I export a video?

Open a project in the editor, then use the Export tool. The browser export produces WebM; server renders are queued jobs that an admin can follow in the project history. There is no MP4 export yet.

Why does my project look different after I reopen it?

It should not. Projects autosave with version history, and a stale save is rejected instead of silently overwriting the server copy. If a project ever looks wrong after reopening, use Projects → history → restore to go back to an earlier version, and report it — that is a data-loss bug.

Can I use AI voice, transcription, or background removal?

Not yet. AI Studio has a provider adapter and local captions (from your project's text overlays), but no external AI provider is connected, so transcription, AI voice, background removal and text/image-to-video are shown as not-connected until the owner connects a provider.

Can I pay for a plan?

Plans exist (free / pro / team) but billing is test-mode only: the simulated provider cannot take real money. No real payment provider is connected yet, so do not enter real card details anywhere.

I lost my password — how do I reset it?

Use the forgot-password page. It records the request, but no reset email is sent yet — email delivery is not wired up. Until it is, password recovery goes through the workspace owner/admin.

Is my media private?

Yes by design: uploads go to private storage, never a public URL, and share links are explicit, expirable, and revocable. Media is processed only with your consent where AI features are involved.

The app is down / something is broken — what do I do?

First check the status on the admin operations dashboard (admins only). Then contact support below with what you were doing, the project name, and the time — the request id shown in any error helps the owner find the matching log line.

Contact support

Email support is not configured yet — the workspace owner sets the support address before launch (see docs/support.md for the setup steps and the response-time targets). Until then, contact the workspace owner/admin directly, and include what you were doing, the project name, and the time it happened.

For account or billing problems, include the account email. Never send passwords, session tokens, or full payment card numbers to support.
